We are a medium sized, community focused Housing association offering affordable homes to rent, shared ownership schemes, market rent properties, key worker housing and specialist accommodation for older people and people who need support and care to live within the community. We own, manage and maintain more than 7,500 homes which are backed up by a range of housing services, including our own professional team of trade's staff who provide a comprehensive maintenance service.
Our work as a social housing provider is supported by profits from our growing commercial activities. We have recently launched a new six year strategic plan, focusing on two objectives – achieving happy customers and building more homes. We are focused on delivering the services that are the top priorities for our residents whilst maximising the number of new homes we build to help improve the shortage of social housing locally. At the heart of everything we do is ensuring that our residents are Safe and Satisfied in their homes whilst making sure that our properties are Sustainable.
We see ourselves as more than just a landlord and we're active members of our local community. We aim to make a real difference to the lives of our residents and have developed a series of initiatives dedicated to that goal. These include helping our residents and local people get back into work; our investment in improving the energy efficiency of our homes which is cutting fuel bills as well as the work of our Welfare and Benefit Team. Their invaluable advice is helping to improve living standards for hundreds of our residents who are struggling financially.
