We are pleased to let you know that we now have a dedicated Income Team who are on hand to support you with any questions around paying your rent. We recognise that many of our residents are in receipt of benefits for some or all of their income, making sure that you have easy access to free and helpful benefits advice is therefore an important way that we can help you to sustain your tenancy and pay your rent. To reflect that connection, we have brought our Welfare and Benefits advisors under the umbrella of the Income Team.
The welfare benefit system is very complicated and recent reforms can appear to make it difficult and confusing. Housing Solutions Welfare and Benefit Team offer free impartial advice and are here to assist with all aspects of benefits. They also offer Universal Credit advice and help our customers to sustain their tenancy. They are contactable via the customer portal and firstname.lastname@example.org.
Equally, if you have a question about your rent that you are not able to resolve by looking at your rent statement via your customer portal on our website, then you can also email our Income Team directly on email@example.com
