Making sure our resident are safe through the ‘Waking watch’ and now Trail Group alarm installation
- These checks assess any fire risks and are proactive measure to help residents – through a service which physical checks the communal areas of Evenlode for FRA
- 96 per QR code need to be completed per day
- Evenlode has been defined as 7 blocks which is a total of 672 per day
- The waking watch have been trained to identifying fire risk actions and report and to assist in evacuation if there was an emergency
Communication
- FAQ have gone out to residents with a glossary with the updated FRA (link to this on site)
- Posters in all our blocks with FRA information
- Engagement with residents is important – we are setting up a Evenlode residents group and have done XXX
- Meeting with mosque to help with parking for when there is attendance
- Parking consultation and plan
A programme of tenancy audits
- A tenancy audit is a process used by landlords or property managers to verify the accuracy of tenant information and ensure compliance with lease terms. This can include checking that the tenant is occupying the property as agreed, verifying the number of occupants, and ensuring that the property is being maintained properly.
- A visit from the housing officer to check on the residents in the home and property condition
- We have completed all our audits for residents living in Evenlode
Checking on Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan ‘PEEPs’
- Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) is used to document how people will be evacuated when they have difficulty responding to a fire alarm or escaping from a building unaided, in the event of an emergency.
- All households have been assessed, not everyone with a mobility issue needs a PEEP
