Housing Solutions extends impact, welcoming residents from 267 new homes following L&Q acquisition
We’re pleased to announce Housing Solutions’ acquisition of 267 homes from L&Q Housing Trust on12 January 2026. This marks an exciting moment for our organisation in our 30th year and reflects our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality homes and services to more people across Bracknell Forest and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
The homes include a mix of social and affordable rent, shared ownership and leasehold properties and were acquired under an off-market offer to Housing Solutions as preferred partner to L&Q, allowing us to secure the properties with minimal disruption to residents.
We’re delighted to be extending our reach to more people in need of safe, well-maintained homes. Our teams have worked hard to ensure a smooth transition, and we’re now the official landlord for these homes.
What does this mean for residents?
If you’re one of the new residents joining Housing Solutions from the L&Q portfolio, welcome! You’ll receive a welcome pack from our Housing team, which includes key contact information and details about your tenancy. We’ll also be hosting a welcome event in January to help you get to know us and your community.
For existing Housing Solutions residents, there is no change to your tenancy or services. This acquisition will not affect your rent, repairs, the way you access support or the quality or your services.

No changes are planned. Services will continue as normal, and our teams are here to support you. If you’re a resident from L&Q, we’ll be visiting you soon and checking over your home.
