The Housing Solutions Board met on 29th April via video conference.  Among the agenda items they received a fire safety presentation from Savills, our fire safety partner.  Orla Gallagher, CEO also reported on the challenges Covid-19 are presenting to the organisation along with the progress of operations; all of which are being successfully managed remotely since the lockdown began.  The Board was pleased to hear how hard staff are working through the Covid-19 crisis, many of whom were going ‘over and above’ the call of duty to ensure residents and staff remain safe. 

Director of Finance, David Joyce, provided an overview of the management accounts and the budget for 2020/21 was reviewed.  Steve Brookfield, Director of Housing and Asset Management also presented an synopsis of the operations report which included 100% gas and electrical compliance, along with details of priority works.

The next Board Meeting is scheduled for 15th July 2020
