We want to assure our residents that Housing Solutions will continue working for you within the new Government lockdown rules that have come into action today.
We understand that many of our critical services are, quite rightly, deemed as essential. This means we aim to continue our repairs and maintenance services, caretaking and cleaning of communal areas, lettings (including mutual exchanges), service charge and income collection and our welfare support services.
We also want to continue supporting our sheltered and extra care residents. We aim to continue our scheme visits and weekly health and safety checks as well as regular engagement with all our vulnerable residents. We recognise the continued need to apply special care when our staff visit and we are working closely with Scheme Managers where applicable.
We are 100% committed to protecting your safety, health and welfare. All our staff visiting your home adhere to Covid-19 secure work methods, will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and will adhere to strict social distancing rule.
Please note that we have a legal duty to carry out annual gas safety checks and these will still be scheduled during lockdown. These checks are crucial for the continued safety of you and your family.
If you are reporting a repair, we will ask you if you or a member of your household are displaying Covid-19 symptoms, are waiting on test results or are self isolating, please let us know and we will be happy to rebook the appointment
The quickest way to report a repair is via our Customer Portal you can also check your rent balance, book an appointment as well as view your tenancy documents.
