Housing Solutions continues to work hard to ensure we have staff to deliver critical services including grounds maintenance and emergency property repairs, as well as carry out essential gas and electrical safety checks.  To ensure the ongoing safety of you and your family we have been instructed by the Government and the Regulator of Social Housing to continue to carry out gas, electrical and fire safety compliance work in your home.  Please allow Housing Solutions personnel access to carry out these essential safety checks, please click here for more information.

Our resident’s wellbeing rightly remains our primary focus and we are particularly monitoring those who need specialist support, especially residents in our sheltered schemes.  We are working closely with local partners and community hubs to make sure that vulnerable customers are given the ongoing help they need. 

We understand that this is a difficult time for many people, and we are here to help.  It is important that you keep us informed of your changing circumstances as we can give you advice and support if you are worried about paying your rent. At the present time our offices will remain closed and decisions on re-opening will be dependent on the UK Government’s advice.   We will keep you up to date through this website, via email, SMS messages and our social media accounts; Facebook and Twitter.  Our staff continue to be contactable via our chatbot service on the website, the telephone or social media.

With some of the restrictions being lifted, we are very pleased that we can once again start to the repair works in our empty properties in preparation for when people are allowed to move.  However, at this time we will only carry out emergency repairs in your homes.

The Government has indicated that there is likely to be phased re-opening from June and we are continuing to monitor their announcements closely.  As more information is made available to us, we will adjust our services so that we can continue to prioritise our resident’s needs.
