Our Sheltered Housing Schemes offer people who are aged 55 and over an opportunity to live independently in a home of their own in a secure environment, but with the peace of mind that help is on hand 24 hours a day if they need it.
Residents live in fully self contained flats and have the daily support of a team of sheltered housing staff. All apartments are connected to an intercom system so help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, if you should need it.
Facilities
All our sheltered schemes have the following communal facilities:
- Communal lounge where tenants can socialise if they wish
- Communal kitchen
- Laundry room
- Garden
Guest rooms
Most sheltered schemes have en-suite guest rooms where visiting family and friends of tenants can stay in comfort for a small cost.
Buggy charging rooms
Many of our sheltered schemes have rooms for charging buggies so that they do not take up room in hallways or tenants’ apartments.
Hairdressing facilities
Some of our schemes have a communal room which is used specifically for visiting hairdressers. We employ caretakers to maintain all the communal areas. Many schemes have extra facilities, for further information please contact 0800 876 6060.
Social Events
Many schemes have their own social club which is organised by tenants. They can hold a variety of events, including coffee mornings, coach trips, quizzes, games, reminiscent days, and barbeques in the summer. New suggestions are always welcome and all tenants are welcome to take part, it is entirely your choice.
